Famously known for his paintings “Starry Night” and “Sunflower Fields”, Vincent van Gogh is one of the most influential Dutch painters in art history. While he was commercially unrecognised during his lifetime, Van Gogh emerged as a misunderstood genius and gained recognition for his works in the early 20th century. Today, Van Gogh’s legacy is honoured and his works are known to be among one of the most expensive paintings sold around the world.
