This Paris apartment piles on the plush fabrics and textures set against a brilliant white palette.
With sumptuous views of the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower, and both iconic landmarks just a stone’s throw away, this four en suite bedroom-apartment is as romantic as it gets. And nothing short of luxe too.

In line with her penchant for designing plush and modern spaces, and “mixing art de vivre with culture”, Stephanie worked with a predominantly white palette, integrating the owner’s awe-inspiring collection of antiques in this project.
The Syrian cabinets were the key focus of the overall design. The pieces were gifted to the client by her father, one of the world’s greatest specialists of Syrian antiques,” says Stephanie. “Their antique collection was so interesting, and it mixed well with a few contemporary art paintings.”

Needless to say, designing luxury spaces is familiar territory for Stephanie – she works with a team of architects, decorators and designers on hotels, yachts and private homes in France and overseas.
Clean, Nude Marbles, & Soft Greys
Clean lines, spectacular decor, nude tones, unique marble and luxurious fabrics are favourite elements in Stephanie’s designs. For this apartment, she played with space, textures and fabrics, selecting materials such as refined marble walls to create a luxurious contrast with the soft greys of the furnishings.
“Simplicity and minimal were my two mantras while working on the project. The luxe materials, such as furs, leathers, and marble, are all composed of a palette of matte, shiny, soft, brushed and engraved textures, to create an eye-catching sense of spontaneity,” elaborates Stephanie.
Curved mirrors on chataigne wood finish create a luxe and indulgent atmosphere in the guest wardrobe.

A Calm & Serene Atmosphere
Each space is also enhanced by Stephanie’s use of reflection, through curved mirrors, mirrored ceilings or her SC Edition design chataigne wood finish. This not only creates a sense of continuity and fluidity throughout the space, but also a calm, serene atmosphere.
Elegantly ensconced at the entrance is a mirror framed with embossed glass, chrome, sanded and beveled glass to reflect the wide pattern of the floor and its artwork collection.

Favourite Space? The Grand Dining Room
Stephanie’s personal favourite space is the opulent dining room.
“I collaborated with Joseph Walsh, a young artist chosen together with the client. He designed the table and chairs, creating an amazing sense of curves mixed with the antique Roman bust and the embroideries from the 16th century in gold and silk threads. The custom-made carpet is handwoven with leather silver threads.”

With the owner’s discerning taste in furniture and accessories, it is not surprising that many elegant, refined pieces have been lovingly customised.
All the tables in the living room are made of shagreen, and parchment for the small ones in front of the art video projection wall. The long coffee table in the other salon is made of white wood and glass with metallic threads inserted inside.
It’s all in the details in the guest bathroom – metallic window frames to the alabaster sink

Even the guest bathroom was given a meticulous treatment. All details, from the metallic window frames to the alabaster sink, to the floor and lower section, have been embellished in marble.

The guest bathroom’s floor and lower section have been embellished in marble.
Its ceiling is made of chrome and a glass pattern, with a combination of glass blown leaves.
This thorough attention to detail helped to turn this stately apartment into an indulgent treat for the senses.
