2-Storey Bungalow in Braddell
Architect Vincent Lim of Visual Text Architects (VTxT) was fortunate enough to meet the homeowners of this bungalow, who prize design over the maximisation of their built-in space.
Other than wanting lots of greenery, a koi pond, and a swimming pool for their new home, the family put their complete trust in him to deliver a house that would suit their lifestyle.
The result is a delightfully simple two-storey bungalow with an exposed column-and-beam design and mono-pitched roof emblematic of Modernist architecture.
Pavilion House
The house has a modern shell, or “pavilion-like structure”.
Bathroom
Two coats of waterproof paint on all the bathroom walls work just as well as tiles, but look much better, says Vincent. The wood tones also lend a cosy and warm ambience to this intimate space.

Bali-Inspired Semi-Detached in Braddell
This three-storey semi-detached house has the relaxing atmosphere of a Balinese retreat.
Big outdoor furniture in a rattan weave and a tree-trunk dining table bring home that Balinese villa experience.
Bali Villa Interiors
The home provides the owners a real Balinese villa experience that lets them feel as if they’re on holiday.
Bedspreads, cushions and curtains are coordinated to match the look too!
Bathroom
A round tub, bamboo towel rack and tall plants turn a bland bathroom into a tropical oasis.
