Designer Karina Zabihi is used to transforming stark white interiors into warm, welcoming homes. For her own abode, however — a 4-room rented penthouse apartment she shares with her Scottish husband — the English-Persian interior designer elected to keep it all-white.

Playing with scale, two larger-than-life vases dominate the minimalist master bedroom. Karina spent around $10,000, which included the painting the deck, carpentry, reupholstery and plants.
