Designed by Taiwan-based interior design firm Hao Design, this massive home belongs to a multi-generational family.
A long outdoor corridor links different parts of the home together, and leads to two different kitchens, a study, and several bedrooms.
Entryway
The living room is clad in hues of brown and white, merging textural elements like brick and wood with sleek, contemporary built-ins.
All White Living Room
In all-white, the television console is a respite from the many beautiful textures and colours that are to come.
Kitchen
The kitchen cum dining room is where the family hangs out.
The lady of the house, Mrs. Wang, is an avid cook and needed a kitchen where her spices and tools are easily accessible.
Turquoise Kitchen
Clad in muted turquoise, the wood panelled cabinetry is an eye-catching feature of the space. The rustic cabinetry was paired with white subway tiles.
Kitchen Storage System
A pegboard system was designed to hang Mrs Wang’s necessities, while louvre doors allow ventilation.
Kitchen Pegboard
Apart from the pegboard, the kitchen features other storage and organisation ideas, too. This includes cubby holes, hooks, and open shelves.
Soft Bedroom Colours
With a number of bedrooms, the Hao Design team was able to exercise their creativity to its fullest.
Softer hues like grey and olive green were applied to this bedroom, with pops of orange from the statement lamp and accent chair.
Study Room
A shared room, this space was given double beds, a study as well as a chill-out area.
Leather Bed Headboard
With a leather-strapped headboard and moodier hues, this bedroom gives off a cool, suave vibe.
