Unfinished Wood Home
Despite the masculine undertones of this spacious apartment, the white, wood and light grey palette and quirky furnishings of the home keep it looking like a predictable bachelor pad. Interior design firm Museum Homes were engaged to dress the place up.
The living, dining and kitchen occupy a shared space for an open-concept look.
Chalkboard Doors
Hidden behind the green chalkboard push-to-open flush doors are the owner’s tableware.
Ceiling Beams
The ceiling creates a unique contrast against the white walls and floors of the home, and bring a subtle industrial touch to the home.
The black-framed glass panel allows more light to penetrate the study and its adjacent spaces. The wood tones of the study room floors also warm up the cool white of the living room area.
Kitchen Island
The raw appearance of the unfinished wood-look panels of the cabinetry complements the kitchen island.
Platform Bed Frame
The crate-like box that encloses the bed really create a sense of safeness and comfort in the sanctuary of a master bedroom.
Victorian Style 4-room HDB
Interior design firm Metaphor Studio adapted the ornate style from the Victorian age to this four-room flat by dressing it in a pure white colour scheme accented by gold furnishings.
Open Concept Kitchen
The open kitchen has plenty of storage space for the home owners. The paneled cabinetry with silver inlays are also a subtle nod to the Victorian décor theme.
Platform Bed Frame
Rather than glitzy gold, the designers opted for bronze-tinted mirrors that were easier on the eyes and that matched the beige carpet of the platform area.
Platform Bed with Storage
The platform is not only a frame for the bed, but also hides storage for the home owners.
Built-In Vanity with Pull-Out Stool
To save space, the homeowner’s dressing table was hidden within the wardrobe and the back of the pull-out stool designed to look the same as the drawers, giving the wardrobe a seamless and flushed look.
