Ah, so you must live in Serangoon. The atas neighbourhood of Serangoon has its many pros and cons. It’s incredibly central and near town, it’s got lots of landed enclaves, condominiums, and is well-connected to the east and north east regions as well.
Other than that, there’s a bunch of pretty cool luxury cars in the region, and with it comes the insufferable traffic jams. Oh, not to mention, there’s not a lot of supermarkets or amenities – but these Serangoon people will tell you they dine in town, anyways.
When you have a residential region this popular, you will find pretty nice houses too. And guess what, Sona Decor – the home of your original house tours – has visited and photographed Serangoon houses aplenty.
Here’s a massive list of 28 gorgeous Serangoon houses for you to feast on.

One of the main highlights in this house is the stunning green wall in the living room, which helps to bring greenery into the space.

“Their only requirement was to have a unique space undefined by any style because they were quite disturbed that every other house they saw was Scandinavian-inspired,” Carmen recalls.

Royston Tan’s 2-Storey Condo
Royston Tan – known for his art cinema feature and short films, such as Sons, Mother, 881 and 15 – is one of Singapore’s most promising young film-makers.
Royston envisioned his apartment – a double-storey two-plus one-bedroom condominium unit in Serangoon – as a blank canvas that allows him to change his environment whenever he likes — very much like living on a film set!
Interior designer Raymond Seow of Free Space Intent gave the apartment a “clean, industrial-zen look”, with concrete screed- finished walls and floors, and minimal built-in fixtures.

An Interior Designer’s Condo
Home to an interior designer, this condominium unit in Upper Serangoon has a hotchpotch of things and styles, but they all come together perfectly.
There are whimsical fixtures such as a birdcage ceiling lamp he embellished with a branch and a fake bird; retro touches such as a neon sign that says “Open”, a familiar sight at many American petrol stations and small bars; and striking elements such as a wall decal of a caveman carrying fast food, an image by British graffiti artist Banksy.
It sounds like a hotchpotch of things and styles, but they all come together in Mr Stanley Tham’s 915 sq ft (85 sqm) condominium unit in Upper Serangoon.

Minimalist 3-Room HDB
Placing a steam oven near a television set makes for an odd pairing. But for this three-room HDB flat in Serangoon, it works.
