In this breathtakingly beautiful project by Japanese design studio Shinichi Ogawa & Associates, the team created a holiday home on this 13,045 sq ft (1,212 sqm) plot of land situated next to the lake in Yamanashi prefecture, Japan.
Wall-Less House
With a built-up area of 2,045 sq ft (190 sqm), the team decided to adopt a wall-less approach so that the homeowner could enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding from any room in the house.

Steel Frame Architecture
Built with a steel frame, the only wall in the home is at the back of the house, next to the forest.
Glass panels are used along the perimeter of the structure, offering unobstructed views of the lake and the mountains in the distance.
