Maybe you’d like to have a dispenser in your home office or bedroom that’s within easy reach so you don’t have to walk to the kitchen in the middle of an important project or Netflix binge. But many models on the market aren’t cheap. So if your budget falls under $400, we’ve got a round-up of dispensers to check out.
Bluepro D24 water dispenser, now $135
Sleek and compact, this Bluepro dispenser with a storage tank of 2L makes a minimalist addition to your tabletop if you’re after something less clunky and wallet-friendly.
Not only do you get heated water in three seconds, but there are also six temperatures to choose from, as well as three volumes of water; whether you’re looking to fill the baby’s milk bottle (150ml), make a small pot of tea(300ml) or go for Max (2L).
It’s also designed so the steam generated prevents bacteria buildup within the gadget, and if you have young kids at home, its child lock feature is particularly handy.
Viomi Pro Water Dispenser, $69.90
At just $69.90, this is the most budget-friendly device on our list, and its small size is great for cosy apartments, too.
And it’s not short on nifty features too, from four temperature options to a touch panel and child lock feature. It also promises to heat water in just a second and has a storage capacity of 2L.
Midea JR1878T-NF Instant Hot Water Dispenser, $399
Relatively compact, can hold up to 3.2L of water.
Key features include three water temperature options, and an all-in-one reverse osmosis filter that is easily replaceable, and removes dirt, particles and other contaminants. There’s also a smart auto wash cycle to flush impurities that remained in the filter in only 10 seconds, which extends the lifespan of the filter.
Novita NP6610 Hydroplus water purifier, $299
You won’t get hot water with this device but it doles out purified water thanks to a six-step filtration system.
You won’t even need to hook it up to a power supply – just add tap water and allow it to flow through the filter for instant purified water. It’s outfitted with HydroPlus, a unique element by Novita, which the brand promises to give the water alkaline and antioxidant properties.
Tecno Instant Boiling water dispenser, $299
If you’ve got more family members at home, this Tecno dispenser with a 4L water tank capacity would make a pragmatic choice. Plus, it comes with a five-step Strix Aqua Optima water filter to weed out tiny particles and contaminants as well as prevent limescale build-up and reduce heavy metals. An activated carbon layer also supposedly helps remove high levels of chlorine.
Choose from five temperatures, as well as four volume settings.
